Hello, I’m Kristy Wood

A full-time Marriage Celebrant based in one of SA favourite towns Port Elliot on the Fleurieu Peninsula. I absolutely love what I do.

After leaving my corporate career to follow my heart, I’ve now had the privilege of celebrating over one hundred and fifty weddings and counting.

What I’ve learned along the way? No two ceremonies are ever the same. But every couple deserves the same calm guidance, positive energy and genuine care. My role is to make the planning process feel easy, and your wedding day feel relaxed, joyful and completely you.

I’m incredibly proud to share that in my first year as a full-time celebrant in South Australia, I was named a finalist in the SA ABIA Best Celebrant of the Year Awards in 2024. In 2025, I was honoured again placing as a finalist in ABIA Awards and was placed top 5th Celebrant in SA. Still pinching myself.

When I’m not marrying couples, you’ll find me walking our dogs on the beach, camping with my husband and kids, swimming to the pontoon at horseshoe bay, in the garden, or hanging out with our chooks. I live for the outdoors and that relaxed coastal vibe flows into everything I do. Also, if you come to my office you may even get a Port Elliot Bakery Donut of the month!
